California has had such an impact on our lives as a couple. We hope you find time to be a tourist on your way to Big Sur & experience a small part of what this incredible place has to offer...
Big Sur Lodge
Big Sur lodge is conveniently located in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. With dozens of cabins, many including 2 queen beds, a living space and kitchenette, the lodge is nestled in between the miles of trails of “mini-Yosemite” only a couple of miles from the wedding venue.
Carmel Mission Inn
The Carmel Mission Inn is a newly-renovated boutique hotel located at the entrance to Carmel Valley and one of the most convenient options located right off Hwy 1 about 30 min north of Big Sur and the venue.
Deetjen’s Big Sur Inn
An incredibly historic inn and one of our favorite restaurants on the coast, Deetjen’s is a rustic and technology free option just a few miles south of the venue. Average room rates are $130 - $370 per night.
Julia Pfeiffer Burns Campground
The Environmental Campsite at Julia Pfeiffer Burns SP is the most spectacular campsite I have ever stayed at. It books up 6-months in advance, so everyone set your clocks!
Fernwood Resort
The Fernwood Resort is a popular choice conveniently located between Big Sur and the venue. Very rustic options include motel rooms, forest cabins, tented structures and campsites. $100-$500 per night depending on accommodations.
Ripplewood Resort
A charming but rustic option that is conveniently located directly in the village of Big Sur only a few miles from the venue. Some cabins are multiple occupancy and range anywhere from $200 - $400 per night.
Post Ranch Inn
One of the most spectacular hotels in the world. One of the most spectacular costs as well: Average room rates: $1,500 - $3,500 per night
Alila Ventana Big Sur
One of the most luxurious hotel options anywhere on the California coast. The cost proves it as well: Average nightly rate: $2,000 - $4,000
