The Interval at Long Now
The Long Now is a non-profit foundation started in San Francisco in 1996 to foster long-term thinking from the community. The organization hosts a number of seminars focused on social, environment and intellectual responsibility on a 10,000-year time frame. We’ve attended a number of their events throughout our years in San Francisco. In 2014 they opened The Interval, a bar that acts as a hub where people can come together to discuss ideas and topics related to long-term thinking. Plus, they have fantastic cocktails.
