Glen Oaks Big Sur

Located directly in the unincorporated village of Big Sur, Glen Oaks is a sprawling property that straddles both sides of Highway 1. To the east, the hotel features a block of charming retro motor lodge rooms. To the west is a large collection of private standalone and duplex cabins deep in the redwoods. The property is on the banks of the Big Sur River and serves as the focal point of many of the modern cabins. Each cabin comes with a fire pit, firewood and s’mores provisions.

We initially looked at this property as the venue for the ceremony but the attached restaurant didn’t have the capacity we needed for the reception. Still one of our favorite places to stay in the Big Sur forest.
